Linda Mae Miller

Linda Mae Miller, 71, died November 26, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Miller was born July 21, 1945 in Pampa where she attended Pampa schools. After high school she married Jim Bledsoe and they had two children before moving to Oklahoma, and then returning to Pampa in 1992. Linda later married Gene Miller on August 16, 1997 at Central Baptist Church in Pampa. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching elementary Sunday school. She was very crafty and loved making floral arrangements. Linda loved her family, especially during any holiday that brought them all together. She worked in the medical field for many years, the last 14 years at St. Ann’s Nursing home in Panhandle. Survivors include her husband, Gene Miller of the home; a son, Michael Bledsoe of Denton; her mother, Evelyn Reger of Pampa; two sisters, Mary Fulton and husband Neil of Pampa, and Earlene Medenhall and husband Royal of Perry, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Nicholas Bledsoe of McKinney, Christopher Bledsoe of Denton, and Stephen Bledsoe and wife Rachel of Amarillo. Linda was preceded in death by a son, Charles Bledsoe; her father, W. E. Reger; and a brother, Wilburn Reger. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 513 E. Francis, Pampa, Texas 79065. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff at Coronado Healthcare Center in Pampa, and BSA Hospice of the Southwest in Amarillo for their love and care of Linda.
