Angi Marie Long Woelfle, 41, died after a long battle with cancer on November 27, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2016, at First Baptist Church, with Mike Sublett, pastor of Hi-Land Christian Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Angi requested that those attending her services wear colorful clothing as this is to be a celebration of her life. Angi was born April 3, 1975 in Wichita, Kansas, and her family moved to Pampa when she was a toddler. She was a 1993 graduate of Pampa High School. During high school, Angi met her soul mate, Joe Michael Woelfle and they married after graduating in August of 1993. She graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in education. She taught at Lamar Elementary, Wilson Elementary, St. Matthews Episcopal Day School and “Create-A-Beat.” Angi was a certified swimming instructor and was an assistant with Jeanne Willingham and Deanna McGill in dance. She was a lifelong member of Hi-Land Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Joe Michael Woelfle; a daughter, Brooke Woelfle; and two sons, Brendon Woelfle and Brett Woelfle, all of the home; her parents, Dan and Julie Long of Pampa; a brother, Luke Long and wife Angela of Lubbock; three brothers-in-law, David White and wife Terena of San Diego, California, Mark Woelfle and wife Fiona of Frisco, and J. D. Woelfle of Pampa; and two fathers-in-law, Mike Woelfle and wife Melba, and D. L. Hale, all of Pampa. Angi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Edna Long and Richard and Eileen Yinger; and her mother-in-law, Beth Hale. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Create-a-Beat, PO Box 1516, Pampa, Texas 79066-1516; St. Matthews Episcopal Church Day School, 727 W. Browning, Pampa, Texas 79065; or Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065. Angi will lie in state at the funeral home from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Friday. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 PM Friday, December 2, 2016 at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
