Jeena Hinds Jones

Jeena Hinds-Jones, 54, of Pampa, passed away November 28, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Jones was born August 7, 1962 in Pampa where she had been a lifelong resident of Pampa and attended Pampa schools. She married the love of her life, Gary Jones, on August 28, 1978 in Pampa. Jeena worked for Walmart for over 15 years, retiring in order to take care of her grandson, Jake. Her greatest joy was being with her family, especially her special grandson, Jake. Jeena was a very generous woman who always put others before herself. When she could, she enjoyed motorcycling with her husband to many places. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Gary Jones of the home; a daughter, Tiffeni Martinez and husband Andrew of Pampa; a son, Cody Jones of Pampa; her mother, Sue “Granny” Hinds of Pampa; two sisters, Jodi Estep and Kelsi Hinds both of Pampa; grandson, Jake Martinez of Pampa; two brothers-in-law, Kevin Jones and wife Jodi of Gage, Oklahoma, and Terry Jones of Shattuck, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Vickie Barber and husband Rex of Shattuck, Oklahoma; three nephews, Zack Estep, Nathan Estep and Dillon Estep; and other extended family. Jeena was preceded in death by her father, Gene Hinds; a brother, Michael Hinds; two grandmothers, Juanita Biggs and Fanny Hinds; mother-in-law, Jaunema Jones; father-in-law, Charles Jones; and sister-in-law, Crystal Jones.
