Danny Tilman Boyd, 58 of Pampa, died November 28, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor of Carpenter's Church, officiating. Military honors are courtesy of the U. S. Navy. Cremation will follow the services under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Boyd was born September 14, 1958 in Pampa where he attended Pampa schools. He lived most of his life in the Pampa area, spending about ten years in East Texas where his son was born. Danny served his country as a member of the U. S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, music and listening to his father play his guitar. He loved spending time and playing video games with his son. Survivors include his son, Jacob Boyd of Tyler; his father, Deano Boyd of Pampa; two sisters, Belinda Martin and husband Darrel, and Samantha Aikin and husband Ricky, all of Pampa; five nieces, Michelle Weatherly of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Stormie Blain of Pampa, Brittany Boyd and Kendall Radke, both of Lubbock, and Kinley Aikin of Canyon; five nephews, David Doucette of Lubbock, Jeremy Doucette, Chris Doucette, Phillip Watkins and Reece Aikin, all of Pampa; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Patty Boyd; a sister, Pam Chamberlain; and two brothers, Timmy Boyd and Perry Boyd.
