Sandra Ann Mathis

Sandra Ann Mathis, 56, of Pampa, died December 31, 2016 in Pampa. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Open Door Church of God in Christ, with Superintendent Hubert Kelley, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Mathis was born March 11, 1960 in Buffalo, New York. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1999. She married Stanley Mathis on February 14, 2003 in Pampa. Sandra was a CNA and activities director at the Meredith House and also activities director at Coronado Heathcare Center. She worked for Interim Home Health and was a Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Stanley Mathis of the home; a daughter, Sammy Marrisio of Houston; a son, Charlton Franks and wife Michelle of Weatherford, Oklahoma; four brothers, William Leonard and wife Melody and Robert Leonard, all of Katy, Ralph Leonard of Georgetown, Georgia, and Donald Leonard, Jr. of Levittown, Pennsylvania; a sister, Cynthia Robinson and husband James of Georgetown, Georgia; two grandchildren; a goddaughter, Angie Gray of Pampa; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Myers and Donald Leonard, Sr.
