Judith Gilbert, 69, of Pampa, died January 2, 2017 in Pampa. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Wagenknecht, officiating. Cremation and arrangements ae under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Gilbert was born September 13, 1947 in Geneva, New York. She was raised and attended schools in New York State. She eventually moved to Florida where she spent most of her life. In early 2016, she moved to Pampa to be closer to her family. Judith was a very loving and generous lady who also loved animals and had a comedic side. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Survivors include three sons, Scott Wagenknecht and wife Linda Bean of Del Rio, David Wagenknecht and wife Jennifer and James Wagenknecht, all of Pampa; a brother, Thomas Gilbert of Springfield, Massachusetts; a grandson, David Wagenknecht of Paris, Tennessee; three granddaughters, Alexis Wagenknecht and Micaela Wagenknecht, both of Fritch, and Jennifer Wagenknecht of Paris, Tennessee; two great grandsons, Landyn Wagenknecht and Ryker Wagenknecht, both of Fritch; a great granddaughter, London Wagenknecht of Fritch; and a nephew, Michael Gilbert of Massachusetts. Judith was preceded in death by her parents. Judith will be available for viewing from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
