Shirley M. Kelley, 74, of Pampa, died January 10, 2017 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Kerry Tilley, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will follow at a later date under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Kelley was born November 20, 1942 in Lubbock, but was raised in Nebraska where she attended school. Later she moved to Yuma, Arizona where she met Alfred Kelley. They married on May 2, 1959. In 1961, Shirley and Alfred moved to Pampa where they’ve lived ever since. She worked at Alco and Homeland Grocery before retiring in order to help care for her grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. Shirley liked to sew and bake for the family and she enjoyed raising Yorkshire Terriers. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Alfred Kelley of the home; a son, Cliff Kelley and wife Robin of Pampa; a daughter, Deena Fent of Pampa; three grandsons, Mitch Kelley of Lubbock, Matt Kelley of Victoria, and Kade Morse of Denton; a brother, Gary Lovejoy of Eagle Lake; and two sisters-in-law, Lavesta Graham and husband Ray of Amarillo, and Achsa Duncan and husband Dennis of Hugoton, Kansas. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; Faye Owen Lovejoy and Metilda Webb; and her stepfather, Leslie Webb. Memorials may be made to P.A.W.S, PO Box 2095, Pampa, Texas 79066-2095.
