Lucy Favette Crocker, 100, of Pampa, died January 24, 2017 in McLean. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Don Stone, her son-in-law, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Favette was born to William Daniel and Malissa Wofford Ray on July 11, 1916 in Oglesby. She lost her hearing at age three from high fever resulting from spinal meningitis. She attended the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin where she later met and married William Gordon Crocker of Pampa in 1935. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1985, and Gordon preceded her in death in 1997. She loved her Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ family and Walmart friends. Survivors include a daughter, Ginger Stone and husband Don of Clarendon; two grandchildren, Laurie Holcomb and husband Steve of Sweetwater, and James Crocker of Denver, Colorado; three great grandchildren, Whitney Lamming of Lubbock, Ashley Cardwell of Wichita Falls and Brady Holcomb of Searcy, Arkansas; a great great granddaughter, Brooklyn Cardwell of Wichita Falls; and daughter-in-law, Judy Crocker of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
