Nancy Crocker

Nancy Crocker, 82, of Odessa, formerly of Pampa, entered into eternal peace with God our Father February 1, 2017. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery of Pampa with Gary Brown, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Nancy was born on August 17, 1934 in Pampa to Pete and Inez Sumner. She attended schools in Pampa and graduated from Pampa High School. Nancy worked as a secretary for the Cabot Corporation, Pampa Chamber of Commerce, and the Occidental Oil & Gas Company. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa. In 2004 she moved to Odessa to be closer to her family. She later became a member of First Baptist Church of Odessa. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be greatly missed by her family. Survivors include a son, Kent Jones and wife Sheryl of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Kathy Brown and husband Gary of Odessa and Kim Jones of Denton; five grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Inez Sumner; and by husband, H.E. Crocker, Jr. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231.
