Wanda “Nonnie” Ensey Price, 86, of Pampa, died February 6, 2017 in Borger. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2017, at Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with John Curry, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Price was born October 4, 1930 in Hardeman County, and was a graduate of Chillicothe High School. She married Haskell Ensey in April of 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1993. She later married Ton Price in 1995 and he preceded her in death in 1999. Wanda had been a resident of Pampa since 1955. She was an OR nurse at Worley Hospital, Highland General Hospital and Pampa Regional Medical Center for 35 years. In 1981, she began working for Dr. Grabato as his office nurse, retiring in 1997 after 51 years in the medical field. She was a Baptist. Wanda traveled to all 50 states, loved the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, and fishing. Above all, her family always came first. The family wishes to thank Caprock Nursing Home in Borger and BSA Hospice of the Southwest for their love and care of Wanda. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Sly and husband David of Fritch; two sons, Gary Ensey and wife Cindy of Pampa, and Terry Ensey and wife Suzanne of Borger; a stepson, Harry Price and wife Linda of Nappa Valley, California; seven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; and special friends, Jerry and Phyllis Hood of Pampa. Wanda was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shelby McKissick in 1973; a daughter, Ilene McKissick in 1978; three sisters, Dorothy Davenport, Naomi Davis and Pearly Mae Rogers; and two brothers, T. A. Sparks and Charles Sparks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
