Bulah Bess “Bea” Dwight, 84, of Pampa, died February 8, 2017 in Pampa. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Dwight was born April 24, 1932 in Mobeetie to Joseph and Emma Gabriel. She attended schools in Mobeetie and Pampa. Bulah married Kenneth H. Dwight on April 25, 1948 in Pampa. In 1984, Bulah and Kenneth began Dwight’s Welding Shop which they operated until Kenneth’s death on June 26, 1990. She also worked for M. E. Moses for many years before moving to Arizona in 1992. Bulah returned to Pampa In 2007. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed painting, reading, and working jigsaw puzzles, but most of all, she loved being with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Dan Dwight and wife Susie of Pampa, and Kenneth H. Dwight, Jr. and wife Joyce of Fulshear; a son-in-law, Curtis Rogers of Tucson, Arizona; six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bulah was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Marie Rogers, five sisters and four brothers.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to First Christian Church, 1633 N.
