CB Haley left this world on Saturday, February 11, 2017, in Sterling City, Texas. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the White Deer Cemetery with Dale Meadows, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. CB was born in Pampa on September 28, 1937 to Baxter and Myrtle Haley. He graduated from Panhandle High School in 1957 and then attended Frank Phillips College for two years. He farmed and ranched most of his life. He attended White Deer Church of Christ and was an active member of White Deer Riding Club. CB loved music and in the late 70’s he went to Nashville and recorded a record. He moved in with his sister, Ann Ford, in 2008 at Sterling City and then to the Sterling County Nursing Home. He attended Sterling City Church of Christ. He loved going to Senior Citizens where he played cards and dominoes. CB was preceded in death by his parents. CB is survived by a sister, Gracie Ann Ford of Silver City; four nieces, Dolores Scheetz and husband Bill of Lafayette, Colorado, Frances Milton and husband Eddie of Bay City, Rhonda Holland and Linda Ford both of Sterling City; 10 great nieces and nephews; 14 great-great nieces and nephews.
