Elizabeth Carpenter Marshall

Elizabeth Carpenter Marshall, 99, of Pampa, died February 15, 2017 in Pampa. There are no services scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Elizabeth was born July 21, 1917 in Mobeetie, and was a 1935 graduate of Pampa High School. Later that year, she went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, retiring as a service representative in 1973 after 38 years of service. After three months of retirement, Elizabeth decided to go back to work at Gray County Probation Office, retiring in 1988. She was an avid reader of mysteries most of her life. She was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. Elizabeth dearly loved her son and her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her son, Edward Marshall of Pampa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers.
