Edward Carl Pryor, Jr.

Edward C. Pryor, Jr., 82, of Pampa, died February 24, 2017 in Pampa. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Rev. Kyle Ohsfeldt, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiating.   Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Pryor was born August 28, 1934 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He had lived in Pampa most of his life. He worked for Electric Service as a linesman before he joined the U.S. Army in 1957. He served two years and returned back to Electric Service. He attended Hobart Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Pryor Barnhard; and 2 sisters, Edelyne Martin and Gwen Rainwater. Survivors include his son, Randy Pryor of Deer Park; a sister, Karen Crinklaw of Dallas; 3 grandchildren, Cara Nunn of Pampa, Joshua Pryor of Denton, and Carrie Lynn McKee of Florida; and 4 great grandchildren.
