Vinson Lee Shaw

Vinson Lee Shaw, 80, of Pampa, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Amarillo, after a blessed life on this earth shared with his beautiful wife Barbara (Bobbie) Shaw and family. Service will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 6, 2017 at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Vinson was a lifetime resident of Pampa graduating from Pampa High School in 1955.   He married to Barbara McNeill on July 27, 1956 at Pampa Bible Baptist Church, and spent 60 years and seven months together as husband and wife before the Lord called him home. Vinson worked as a pipeline welder throughout the country for nearly 50 years. He was an avid antique car enthusiast and a member of the High Plains Cruisers car club. He was a member of the Covenant Sunday School class and Central Baptist Church in Pampa. Vinson is survived by his wife, Barbara McNeill Shaw; along with two daughters; Treasa Heuston of Pampa Texas, Anita Tinney and husband Stan of North Richland Hills; four grandchildren; Daniel Heuston and wife Meagan of Yukon, Oklahoma, Bailie Tinney of Azle, Amanda Naugher and husband Collin of Fort Worth, and Rachel Sanders and husband Dustin of Claude; four great grandchildren, Case Heuston, Nash Sanders, soon to arrive True Naugher and (baby girl) Sanders; along with seven siblings; Leroy Shaw of Pampa, Jackie Shaw and wife Marlene of Pampa, William Shaw and wife Jenny of Marana, Arizona, Mary Denham and husband Ray of Pampa, Geneva Thompson and husband Bill of Canyon, Virginia Ridgway and husband Bill of Mobeetie, and Darlene Asencio and husband Ray of White Deer. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 513 E.
