Mrs. Allison was born on August 21, 1939 on a farm north of Pampa to Ridge and Bessie Russell. On June 15, 1956, Carolyn married Marvin James Allison in Pampa. They were blessed with two daughters, Leslie Smith and Angie Moad. Marvin preceded her in death on September 29, 2016 after 60 years of marriage. Carolyn loved being outdoors, especially at the lake or on the golf course. Taking care of her home and family was her first priority. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She was a member of the American Water Ski Association, Pampa Boat and Ski Club, Hidden Hills Ladies Golf Association, Ladies Top of Texas Golf Association, Con Chem Volleyball Traveling Team, and a member of the Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ. In her younger years, she enjoyed barrel racing and water skiing in tournaments. She skied in the Polar Bear Tournament at Lake Meredith and the Eskimo Tournament at Lake McClellan in January. She played on a soccer team after volleyball ended. Later, many of her years were spent with family skiing at the lake and playing golf with her husband. Mrs. Allison was also preceded in death by her parents, Ridge and Bessie Russell, her sister Barbara Joyce and brothers, Bill Russell and Mark Russell. Left to treasure Carolyn's memory are her loving daughters, Leslie Smith and Angie Moad and husband Chuck; her grandchildren, Chris Epps and wife Carily, Jerad Epps and wife Ashley, Madison Moad, Cheryl Moad, Michael Moad, and Jennifer White; great-grandchildren, Maggie and Hallie Jo Hernandez, Emery and Easton Epps; nephew Randy Allison and wife Deb; niece, Rebecca Allison; her sisters, Linda Bowers Smith and Mary Bartee and husband Jim.
