Jack Malone, 79, long time resident of Pampa, passed away on March 14, 2017 in Pampa. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Ed Sattesahn, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Jack was born May 9, 1937, in Clayton, NM, and graduated from Clayton High School in 1955. He moved to Pampa with his family after graduation and worked for C&M Appliance, where he met and married the love of his life, Glenda Weeks. Jack and Glenda later owned and operated Malone Appliance Service in Pampa for more than 30 years. After retirement, Jack enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family. He was a longtime fan of the Texas Rangers and Texas Tech University sports. Survivors include his wife, Glenda; four children, Brenda Wilson and husband Mark of Edwardsville, IL, Jackie Malone and wife Shelley of Houston, Elisa McIntire and husband Travis of Houston, and Patty Ferguson and husband Scott of Murfreesboro, TN; seven grandchildren, Bryan Malone, Connor Malone, Parker Malone, Grant McIntire and wife Tiffany, Amanda McIntire, Clayton Ferguson, and Cooper Ferguson; and one great grandchild, Bailey McIntire. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Susie Malone of Pampa; two sisters, Nan Hahn of Pampa, and Sue Springer of Grand Prairie; along with one brother, Nathan Malone of Farmington, NM. Celebration of Life visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 PM Friday, March 17, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
