Tylor “T. C.” Drinnon, 85, of Pampa, died March 22, 2017 in Pampa. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Rev. Rodney Weatherly, pastor, and Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday at Cheyenne Cemetery in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, with military honors courtesy of U. S. Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Drinnon was born June 15, 1931 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Harvey and Laura Drinnon. He was a 1952 graduate of Hammon High School. T. C. was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on Christmas Day in 1955. He and Darlene Hunt slipped off and married on March 24, 1956 in Sayre, Oklahoma. They moved to Pampa in 1962. T. C. was self-employed, and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a member of Top O’ Texas Masonic Lodge #1381. He loved to watch westerns and enjoyed visiting the residents at Coronado Healthcare Center. He loved watching his grandchildren play at their sporting events, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Drinnon of the home; a daughter, Gayla Summers and husband Don of Pampa; two sons, Tylor Drinnon and wife Stephanie of Sunray, and Troy Drinnon and wife Sherrie of Pampa; five grandchildren, Tausha Robinson and husband Torrey of Wylie, Amy Acosta of Mustang, Oklahoma, Jerrod Drinnon and wife Autumn of Lubbock, Bridget Holman and husband Justin of Pampa, and Robert Underwood and wife Nicole of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; seven great grandchildren, Isaiah Robinson, Donald Underwood, Miss Ashlynn Robinson, Miss Rebekah Underwood, Taylor Acosta, Cruson Drinnon and Easton Holman; three sisters, Juanita Dixon of Elk City, Oklahoma, Virginia Creach of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and Della Johnson of Roseville, California; and many nieces and nephews. T.C. was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Trinidee Underwood; five sisters, Eula Burton, Willie Jones, Flora Harrell, Minnie Hillman and Laura Alice Brannon; and three brothers, Oscar Drinnon, Floyd Drinnon and Buster Drinnon. The family extends a special thank you to Melissa Strope, Kindred at Home Hospice nurse, and C. W. Parker, chaplain, for their love and care of T. C.
