Annette Ely

Annette Ely, 81, of Pampa, died March 23, 2017 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Sergio Urrutia, pastor of New Life Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Ely was born August 22, 1935 in Pampa where she had been a lifelong resident. She married Charles Ely on July 14, 1963 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2006. Annette was a charter member of New Life Assembly of God where she taught Sunday school and worked in the nursery. She was a dispatcher for Southwestern Public Service for 25 years, retiring in 1997. Annette was a generous giver, always blessing her family, her friends and her neighbors. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Linder and husband Dean of Pampa; a son, Chris Ely of Pampa; three sisters, Phyllis Ladyman of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Della Gee of Pampa, and Cathy Jones of Brookfield, Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Ty Linder and wife Kolbi of Pampa, and Michelle Millikan and husband Nick of Corpus Christi; three great grandchildren, Kayden Millikan and Payten Millikan, both of Corpus Christi, and Aniston Linder of Pampa; sister-in-law, Norma Hensley and husband Addie of Pampa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
