Stan White

Stan White, 66, of Pampa, died March 26, 2017 in Amarillo. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Paul Nachtigall of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. White was born August 11, 1950 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He married Elaine McClelland on August 9, 1974 in Amarillo. He worked for Schlumberger Well Service for 12 years and he owned and operated a used car lot for six years. Stan began working for Gilvin & Terrill, Ltd. in 1993 and was still working for them at the time of his death. He loved his grandchildren, the Dallas Cowboys, and playing cards. If you ever had car trouble, all you had to do was pull up and pop the hood, and he would come running. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Elaine White of the home; four sons, Bryan McClelland and wife Jennifer, Rick McClelland and wife Louisa and Scott McClelland, all of Pampa, and Kevin White and wife Tricia of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; a brother, Butch White and wife Evie of Sayre, Oklahoma; two sisters, Bobbie Howard and husband Tom of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Shirley Parman of Reydon, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
