Clinton Duane Freeman, 81, of White Deer, passed away Thursday morning March 30, 2017 at his home in White Deer, surrounded by his kids and his loving wife, Doris Ann Freeman of 62 years. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at First Baptist Church in White Deer, with Pastor Alan Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa Clint “Sonny” was a lifelong resident of the White Deer area. He was born September 6, 1935 to Clint and Mildred Freeman at their home in Skellytown. Clint was a businessman who had a passion for running cattle. He bought Clint’s Zero Lockers which is now known as Clint & Sons from his father in 1958. He ran this business until 1981, and at that time sold it to his sons. He ranched and was a cattleman and a cowboy at heart with a vast knowledge of the industry. He was a founding member of the White Deer Riding Club and supporter of area FFA and 4H. He was a giving, hardworking man who touched many lives whom he encountered. He loved his family and grandkids, teaching each of them several life lessons and how to love the Lord. He will be greatly missed until we meet again someday. Clint is survived by his wife Doris Freeman; three sons and a daughter, Johnny Freeman and wife Mona of White Deer, Joe Freeman and wife Jennifer of White Deer, Dianna Bohannon and husband Lloyd of Wellington, and Matt Freeman and wife Kara of Bushland; four sisters and one brother, Francis Taylor, Betty Timmons and husband Tim, Mary Ann (Pokey) Trent and husband Bob, Pat Lowe and husband Rick, and C.W. Freeman and wife Diane; 17 grandchildren, Amanda Saffel and husband Phillip, Justin Freeman and wife Lacee, Skylar Freeman, John-Payton Freeman, Katelyn Booze and husband Jake, Jaden Freeman, Hadley Freeman, Gage Freeman, Graysen Smith, Braden Clay, Bo Bryant Bohannon, Brittni Poe and husband Jerrod, Alabama Bohannon, Sonny Bohannon, Hayz Noland, Saige Freeman, and Charley Freeman; 6 great grandchildren, Olivia Saffel, Everett Saffel, Jaxon Freeman, Logan Freeman, Hunter Freeman, and Sloane Booze; along with many loving nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Hoyt Taylor and Ronnie Cade. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa.
