Leopoldo Anaya, 77, of Pampa, died April 9, 2017 in Pampa. Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Liturgy of the word will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Anaya was born November 14, 1939 in Charco de Pena, Mexico. He married Anna Rodriguez on June 11, 1963 in Luzaro Cardenas, Mexico. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1995. Leopoldo was a farmer and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Anna Anaya of the home; three sons, Oscar Anaya and wife Elsa and Raul Anaya and wife Laura, all of Amarillo, and Jose Luis Anaya of Pampa; two daughters, Luz Hernandez and husband Isrido, and Blanca Miranda and husband Gabriel, all of Pampa; two sisters, Rosa Olivas of Perryton, and Jesusita Mares of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
