Robert Aaron Lowrance, 69, of Pampa, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 in Pampa. Memorial graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Lowrance was born November 3, 1947 in Pampa, Texas. He was a Pampa High School graduate where he played football and was in the band. He attended mechanic school in Oklahoma. He was an active member of the Pampa Optimist Club where he coached baseball. Robert enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing and everything baseball. For most of his life, Robert worked in bar management and owned PJ’s Discotheque. Later he worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Childress and Pampa, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lee Lowrance.Survivors include his father, Truman Vernon Lowrance of Pampa; a daughter, Janella Lowrance of Pampa; two sons, Kelly Lowrance of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Truman Courtney Lowrance and wife Crystal of Canyon; eight grandsons, Christian Hinkle of Denton, Eaan Lowrance and Rusty Lowrance, both of Sand Springs, Travis Hinkle, Peyton Luther, Grayson Lowrance, and Truman Riley Lowrance, all of Canyon, and Clayton Hall of Pampa; one granddaughter, Micaela Cullender of Canyon; and many other cousins and extended family.
