Fredrick Wallace “Fred” Ehmann, 67, of Miami, went on to his farm and ranchland in heaven with his Lord and Savior on May 24, 2017 in Roberts County. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at First United Methodist Church in Miami, with Rev. Anthony Inman, pastor, and Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Happy, officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Cemetery with Rev. Lewis Holland, retired Methodist Minister, and Steve Porter, minister of Primitive Baptist Church of Paducah, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Ehmann was born February 7, 1950 in Pampa to Wallace and Bobbie Ehmann. He was a 1968 graduate of Miami High School and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, graduating in 1972. After graduation, Fred returned to Miami to the family farm where he farmed with his parents up until the time of his death. He was an insurance agent for Rain and Hail Insurance Company. Fred enjoyed spending time entertaining his family and friends on his Vegas trips. He enjoyed farming and ranching, and loved visiting with everyone. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends and community. Survivors include a son, Shawn Ehmann of Miami; two daughters, Christina Flowers and husband Gabe of Happy, and Amber Steele and husband Michael of Austin; his mother, Bobbie Ehmann of Miami; five grandchildren, Cutter Ehmann, Kashli Ehmann, Rylan Ehmann, Landon Flowers and Kannon Flowers; two sisters, Katie Krienke and husband Danny of Perryton, and Susie Spurlock and husband Wesley of Stratford; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.Fred was preceded in death by his father; and stepson, Billy Russell.
