Coy L. Werley

Coy L. Werley, 83, of Pampa, died June 14, 2017 in Amarillo.There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Werley was born October 14, 1933 in Vernon. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1983. He was a musician and had the #1 band in San Diego in the 1950’s. He currently has two songs on YouTube. Coy was also a painter. Survivors include a daughter, Valorie Duncan and husband John of Pampa; a son, Zane Werley of Amarillo; two brothers, James Garland Werley of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Henry Don Werley of Austin; two grandchildren, Brock Duncan and Zaileigh Duncan, both of Pampa. Coy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Onie Werley; a brother, Charles Werley; and a sister, Christine Smith.
