Paul G. Brockington, 59, of Pampa, died June 16, 2017 in Pampa. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Malcom Brockington, Paul’s brother, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Brockington was born June 29, 1957 in Paris, Texas. He was a 1976 graduate of Midland Lee High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving during peacetime, stationed in Spokane, Washington. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1984. He was a foreman for BNSF Railroad, working since 1994. He married Mandy Davis on July 11, 2012 in Pampa. Survivors include his wife, Mandy Brockington of the home; two sons, Jonathan Brockington of San Antonio, and Byron Brockington of Tucson, Arizona; seven brothers, Preston Brockington, Jr., of Denver, Colorado, Malcom Brockington and Randall Brockington, both of Midland, Tommy Brockington of Sweetwater, Alonzo Brockington of Clinton, Maryland, Joe Earl Brockington of California and Robert Earl Brockington of Paris, Texas; a sister, Doris Brockington of Midland; and five grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Preston Brockington, Sr., and Olean Brockington; a brother, Charles Hailey; and a sister, Lynn Brockington. Mr. Brockington will not lie in state at the funeral home before his services.
