Jack Dills, 72, of Pampa, died June 22, 2017 in Pampa. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Don Nickles, retired Church of the Nazarene pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Dills was born February 2, 1945 in San Francisco, California. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving with the 173rd Airborne during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Army National Guard, and the Army Reserves where he served as a reserve drill Sergeant. He worked for Transworld Airlines, was a Church of the Nazarene minister in Northern California, and a sales representative for Best Locking Systems. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the VFW and the Order of the Purple Heart. He married Kathie Zuleeg on August 3, 1985 in Walnut Creek, California. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Dills. Survivors include his wife, Kathie Dills of Pampa; three sons, Jack E. Dills of Winchester, Kentucky, John P. Dills of Fortson, Georgia, and Luke Dills of Aurora, Colorado; two daughters, Janey Piggott of Napa, California, and Brittony Dills of Pampa; five brothers, Richard L. Dills and Jim Dills, both of Pampa, Robert (Bob) Dills of Newark, California, Don Dills of New Elgin, Scotland, and Gary Dills of Dexter, Oregon; a sister, Dorothy DeMond of Bellingham, Washington; and nine grandchildren.
