Adam Juan Rodriguez

Adam Juan Rodriguez, 22, of Amarillo, passed away on June 14, 2022 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 4:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Buck, pastor of Redeemer Pampa Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Adam was born March 5, 2000 in Amarillo. He lived most of his life in Pampa and graduated from Pampa High School in 2018. After high school he attended Amarillo College to pursue a degree in film and music production. His most recent job was a legal assistant for a law firm in Dallas. Adam had a love for music and enjoyed playing all types of video games. He had a kind and compassionate heart for others and was a wonderful brother to Isaiah. Adam loved his family and was a great son and grandson. He had the opportunity to get to travel to many different places which included Europe, Los Angeles, and south Texas. Adam was a good friend to many and will be missed. Adam had a strong faith in God and was very spiritual. He embraced and exuded love and positivity. Through the pain of his passing, we must also rejoice knowing he is resting in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Joe Maestes; grandfather, Richard “Dick” Wells and Chuck Conyers; and his best friend, Reece Parker.

Survivors include his mother, Jami Rodriguez of Dallas; his father, Ricky Rodriguez and wife Adriana of Amarillo; brother, Isaiah Rodriguez of Dallas; grandmother, Diane Conyers of Amarillo; grandfather, Henry Quintana and wife Lorraine of Paragould, Arkansas; grandparents, Juan and Ester Rodriguez of Pampa; aunts and uncles, Jose and Chrissie Silva, Kip and Myrna Grays, Josh Rodriguez, Esther Rodriguez, and Estevan and Norma Contreras; numerous cousins; and two special friends, Santana Villarreal and C.J. Dalton.
