Adelfa Bravo Silva, 73, of Pampa, died May 12, 2018 in Pampa. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Ms. Silva was born January 1, 1945 in Rio Frio, and had been a resident of Pampa since 1974. She worked for Granny’s Home Cooking for 10 years, retiring 3 years ago due to her health issues. Adelfa loved to sew and make quilts. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens, and loved cooking and having her family at her house. Her favorite television show was “Walker, Texas Ranger.” She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Isabel Aguilar and husband Luis of California, and Diana Cabrales of Pampa; four sons, Gilbert Lozano and wife Irene of Amarillo, Diego Vasquez of New Mexico, Emilo Vasquez of Nebraska, and Frankie Rodriguez of California; three sisters, Clara Hall and husband James, and Linda Silva, all of Fort Worth, and Angie Darling of Amarillo; two brothers, Timothy Silva of Hale Center, and Ruben Silva of Pampa; 24 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Francis Silva; and three brothers, Mike Silva Jr., Louis Silva and David Silva.
