Allen Harden, Sr.

Allen Harden, Sr., 52, of Lefors passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Lubbock.                                                   

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with, Rev. Lewis Ellis, retired Baptist minister officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.  Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Allen was born February 16, 1967 in Pampa to Bill and Shirley Harden.  He attended schools in Pampa until the 8th grade and graduated from Lake Dallas High School in 1985.  He moved back to the Pampa area in 2000, and married Tess Connell on September 1, 2007.  Allen was currently a self-employed contractor and loved what he was doing.  Over the years he has had various jobs and was a hard and dedicated worker at each of them.  Allen had a love for fishing and just being outdoors.  His family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Tess of the home; six sons, Brent Harden of Ft. Worth, Jarrod Harden and wife Ashley of Pine Bluff, WY, Allen Harden, Jr. and wife Candia of White Deer, Dawson Taylor of Lefors, Drayton Roberts and Jacey of Lubbock, and Koltan Morris and Lisa of Elkhart, KS; extended son, Randy Wyatt and wife Lauren of Decatur; his mother Shirley Mohrenweiser of Denton; brother, Dean Harden and wife Melanie of Denton; sister, Lisa Rivera and husband Joe of Denton; 12 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
