Alva Crafton

Alva Crafton, 92, of Pampa, died August 24, 2017 in Pampa. Services will be 2:30 PM Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Fellowship Baptist Church, with Rev. Joel Osborne, pastor, officiating. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Crafton was born September 28, 1924 in Evening Shade, Arkansas. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1953. She married C. L. Crafton on August 1, 1941 in Arkansas and he preceded her in death in 1989. Alva was a homemaker, and was an Avon representative for over 30 years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church since 1955. Alva loved and adored her grandchildren and she enjoyed fishing. Survivors include 2 sons, Darrel Crafton and wife Marilyn of Pampa, and Garry Crafton and wife Christi of Friendswood; a daughter, Derinda Koons of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Amy Davis, Sarah McCallon, Kent Koons and Kyle Koons, and two great grandchildren.
