Amy Lee Freudenrich

Amy Lee Freudenrich, 79, of Pampa, passed away on November 3, 2021 in Pampa.

Celebration of life services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Buck, pastor of Redeemer Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Amy’s services will be livestreamed thru the funeral home’s website.

Amy was born on January 23, 1942, in Erick, OK to Oma and Edward Sissom. Amy’s family would live in several different states during her childhood. In 1958, she moved to Pampa where she would meet Jimmy Freudenrich and they married on June 25, 1965, in Pampa. Jimmy would later precede her in death in 2009. Amy took a lot of pride in being a homemaker and was a fantastic cook and kept an immaculate house for all her family.

Amy was a social lady who could talk and listen to anyone’s stories, and she always had time to give advice to anyone who asked for her opinion. Amy will be remembered as selfless woman who was kind and put others before herself.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, a sister, Ann Brooks; brothers, Charlie Sissom, Edward Sissom, and Leroy Sissom; brothers-in-law, Harold Pebley, Jerry Ruffin; and nephew little Jerry Ruffin.

Her survivors include her two sons, Randy Freudenrich and wife Sherylene and Ronnie Freudenrich, all of Pampa; three sisters, Sue Ruffin of Grand Prairie, Wanda Parker and husband Richard of Highland Village, and Darlo Pebley of California; two brothers, Carl Sissom and Ray Dee Sissom, all of Pampa; three granddaughters, Amanda Williams and husband Jared of Amarillo, Senecia Becker of Pampa, and Simona Cruz of Canyon; two grandsons, Ryan Freudenrich and wife Brianna, and Solomon Cruz and Kandi, all of Pampa; eight greatgrandchildren, Koulter, Eli, Hadyn, Wade, Jake, Emery, Hudson, and Mason; sister-in-law, Anne Sissom of Pampa; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, and several close friends.
