Amy Laneigh Petroski

Amy Laneigh Petroski, 33, of Pampa passed away on January 9, 2020 in Pampa.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 13, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Beam, pastor, officiating.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Amy was born September 8, 1986 in Pampa to Chalenia Freeman and John Freeman.  She attended Pampa Schools and went on to earn her Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Phoenix.  Amy enjoyed helping people in anyway.  She worked a few years at Pampa Youth and Community Center teaching several HIIT classes.  Her most recent job was with the billing department at Pampa Regional Medical Center, where she has worked the last several years.  Most of all she loved when she was a stay at home mom taking care of her children, her family was everything to her.  Amy married her best friend, Robert Petroski in May of 2018 in Pampa.  They enjoyed building furniture together, taking walks, playing video games, vacationing and trips to the lake. She had a bubbly personality and could light up a room with her smile and laughter.  Amy was an amazing wife, daughter, mother, sister, and aunt to her family.  She was very involved in Relay for Life for many years and will be missed by many friends and family.  She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chester Tackett.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Petroski of the home; 6 children, Abi Marquez, Aaden Marquez, Adelynn Marquez, Madison Petroski, Oliver Petroski, and Liam Petroski all of Pampa; 2 sisters, Ashely Morehart and husband Ricky of Wylie and Amber Martinez and husband Jeremy of Pampa; her mother, Chalenia Freeman of Pampa; her father, John Freeman of Pampa; 2 grandmothers, Rose Tackett and Thelma Freeman both of Pampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Relay for Life, American Cancer Society, c/o of Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, Texas or a favorite charity.
