Andy Benjamin Lee, 62, of Pampa passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Amarillo.
Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Keith Feerer, minister of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ, and Dale Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Andy was born April 29, 1958 in Pampa to Lacy and Belle Lee. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1976 and attended Abilene Christian University. While in high school, he served as President of the Chess Club and earned most outstanding boy award in concert choir. After a year of college, he returned to Pampa where he worked for various companies over the years which included several paper routes and he delivered bundles for the Pampa News. Pizza Hut was his most recent job, where he was a delivery driver for over 25 years. Andy was a lifelong member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, where he often led the singing and sang for many weddings and funerals. He sang with the group "Up With People" for a few years. Andy had a passion for music and singing, a concern for others, and he loved to visit with people. He enjoyed reading and talking about the Bible. Andy had a great memory, as he could remember numbers and birthdays very well and associate numbers to his friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jenny Gamble Welch.
Survivors include his sister, Linda Carlton and husband Marvin of Pampa; 3 brothers, Mickey Lee of Pampa, Doug Lee and wife Kellie of Burleson, and Robin Lee and wife Donna Marie of Franklin; brother-in-law, Randall Welch of Pampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
