Angelia Marie Ferretti Strite, of Springfield, Colorado and formerly of Pampa, passed away February 10, 2021 at the age of 43 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 in the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Angelia was born on September 28, 1977 in Johnson, KS to Glenn Ferretti and Catherine Thomas. She attended school and spent most of her childhood in Kansas. After high school she traveled and worked in various towns. She later met her first husband, Walter Valdez, and they were married for several years and had three children together. They would later separate but remained friends. She found love again when she met Brian Strite, and they married in 2010. She moved to Pampa in 2008 to be closer to some of her family. She worked in the fast food, convenience store, and retail services industries, but her favorite job was helping with animal husbandry at the swine farm.
She was an avid fan and supporter of the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys and tried to never miss a game. But what was most important was her children and family. She lived a short life, but she lived it to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Ferretti; by maternal grandparents, James and Loretta Kirkland and paternal grandfather, Lawrence Barnes.
Her survivors include three daughters, Seven Thomas of Dalhart, Gwenyth Capling of Kansas City, KS, and McKenzie Thomas of Pampa; two sons, Walter Thomas of Pampa, and Vincent Capling of Kansas City, KS; a grandson, Grayson Thomas of Dalhart; husband, Brian Strite of Pampa; mother and step-father, Catherine and Danny Thomas of Pampa; a sister, Cherlyn Brobst and husband Brad of Springfield, CO; two brothers, James Ferretti and wife Windy of Pampa, and Robert Corey and wife Tiffany, of Plainfield, IN; a paternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Barrett of Johnson, KS; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
