Barbara Jean Mesneak, 78, of Pampa passed away on Wednesday August, 8, 2018 in Pampa.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Hobart Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Watson, pastor, officiating. Inurnment will follow in White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Mesneak was born March 31, 1940 in Depew, Oklahoma to Floyd and Opal Butcher. She has lived in the Pampa and White Deer area most of her life and attended schools in Pampa. She married William J. Mesneak in Pampa, and he passed away in May of 1976. Barbara worked at Furr’s Cafeteria and Gas N Stuff for many years before she retired. She enjoyed collecting life events, and all kinds of knick knacks. Barbara was a member of Hobart Baptist Church and was known for her joke telling. She loved her friends, church family, and her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Sue West and Norene Marsh.
Survivors include two daughters; Vickie Reusch and husband Rick Pruitt of Terlton, Oklahoma and Pam Thomas and husband Richard of Pampa; son, Billy Mesneak of Pampa; brother, Charles Butcher of Pampa; her favorite dog, Fiesty; 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren with 1 on the way.
Memorials can be made to Hobart Baptist Church, 1100 W. Crawford, Pampa, Texas 79065.
