Betty was born on August 25, 1932, in Wheeler County, Texas to Nettie May and Curtis Lancaster. In January of 1954, Betty met the love of her life, Bob Haines. They dated for three months before getting married on April 30, 1954. The couple loved to do everything together. They made several trips to Pennsylvania through the years to visit Bob’s family. They rode motorcycles and camped often. Betty also enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening. Betty was loved deeply by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Sidney Lynch.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Haines of the home; three children, Dianna Lemke and husband Gary of Perryton, James Haines and wife Brenda of Pampa, and Deanna Peeks and husband Scott of Dallas, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ines Loveday, Ora Swarts, and Laura Watson; three brothers, Aaron Lancaster, Nathan Lancaster, and Garland Lancaster; and numerous other extended family members.
