Beulah Wright, 75, of Pampa, passed way on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Pampa.
A celebration of life service will be 4:30 PM at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Beulah was born on September 10, 1945 in Lenoir City, Tennessee to Willis Bonn and Lillian Beulah Bandy Johnson. She married Willard Garrett and they had two children, Randy and Teresa. Beulah later married Landon Wright in 1982 and moved to Savannah, Georgia with her family. Landon preceded her death in 2003. She lived all over the country, moving to care for family members. Beulah moved to Pampa in January of this year. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Beulah loved art, especially any work done by Thomas Kincaid. She was an avid Charles Stanley fan and dreamed of going on one of his Christian cruises. Beulah will be remembered as a self-less and loving person that gave of herself to help others frequently.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Landon Wright; and 4 siblings, Jackie Johnson, Sam Johnson, Celia Johnson, and Henry Johnson.
Beulah is survived by her 2 children, Randy Garrett of Atlanta, Georgia and Teresa Vainrib and husband Chris of Pampa; 5 siblings, Bettye Johnson, Patricia Robinson, Selina Keller, Willis Johnson and Carol Morrison; 3 granddaughters, Jessica Laucella and husband Giovanni, Abigail Vainrib, and Chloe Vainrib; 1 great-granddaughter, Filomena Laucella; 1 great-grandson on the way, Mario Laucella; and a very dear niece, Karen Babb.
