Bob Herman, 87, of Miami, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in Amarillo.

Memorial services will be held at a late date. A private burial will take place at Miami Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory

Bob was born on April 16, 1935 in Wichita, Kansas to Paul and Jennie Buck Herman. He married Loretta Shelite on December 20, 1953. She passed on June 20, 1982. Together they had three children, Judy, David, and Lisa. Bob and his family moved to Miami in 1966, where they made their home. Bob was later remarried to Frankie Berry on November 10, 1984. She passed on August 24, 2012. He worked for 33 years at a foreman with A.N.R Pipeline. Bob always worked hard to provide for his family. During retirement, he enjoyed fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Jennie Herman; his first wife, Loretta Herman and his second wife, Frankie Herman; two daughters, Kathy Bieker and LaRita Wassel; one granddaughter, Kimberly Wassel; six brothers; and one sister.

Bob is survived by his four children, Judy Portis of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, David Herman and wife Lynn of Edwardville, Kansas, Lisa Mears of Miami; and Tina Robinson and husband Tony of Pampa; his twin brother, Bill Herman of Hugoton, Kansas; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
