Brenda Cumpston Angel

Brenda Cumpston Angel, 65, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away November 23, 2017 in Pampa, Texas. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Pastor Ken Branum, Accolade Hospice chaplain, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Ms. Angel was born December 25, 1951 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Roy and Vera Sparks. She was a beautician, worked at City Services and C. L. Davis Well Service. Brenda owned and operated Davis Minit Mart from 1994 until 2006. She loved to sew, paint, play board games and gamble. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Dwayne Sparks. Survivors include her daughter, Ronda Cumpston of Aurora, Colorado; two sisters, Linda York and Llaine Brookshire and husband Terry, all of Pampa; a grandson, Johnathan Cumpston and wife Kaila of Aurora, Colorado; two great grandchildren, Sadie Cumpston and Sawyer Cumpston, both of Aurora, Colorado; one niece and four nephews. Memorials may be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch, 600 SW 11th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79101.
