Bryan Pigdon

Bryan Frank Pigdon, 73, of Pampa passed away on May 19, 2021 in Amarillo.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Bryan was born October 7, 1947 to Ronald Frank and Shirley Pigdon in Leongatha, Victoria Australia. He attended school in Australia until his 15th birthday, when he started his career as a jockey. He raced horses for over 13 years, winning in Australia and New Zealand. Bryan kept record of every race he ran and what place he came in. In 1975 he started driving a truck in Australia and the United States until 2021. Bryan married Jon Ann Philpott on April 4, 2011 in Pampa. She passed away on November 28, 2018.

Bryan is survived by his daughter, Michelle Haire of Wodonga, Victoria Australia; sister, Karna of Berrigan, New South Wales Australia; brother, Graham of Gold Coast, Queensland Australia.
