Carolyn Ann Heavner

Carolyn Ann Heavner, 62, of Pampa, passed away on August 14, 2017 in Pampa.Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the Carpenter’s Church, with Pastor Gary Snider of Reydon Community Church in Reydon, Oklahoma, officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Carolyn was born November 6, 1954 in Long Beach, CA. As a young girl she moved to Wisconsin where she would attend school for many years before returning to California where she would complete high school. After graduation, she would enter to the Computer Science industry where that occupation would take her on many journeys. Carolyn would work in North Carolina, Florida, and later would move to Pampa in 2000 and would become a permanent resident. Her greatest joy was being around children and to spoil them whenever she could. Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Heavner and by her son, Jonathon Hugh Fritz. Survivors include her parents, Hugh and Greta Gegan of Pampa; two brothers, Gerald McCawley and wife Donna of St. Petersburg, Florida and Stephen McCawley and wife Carmen of Temecula, California; by her sister, Jacqueline McMinn and husband Robert of Mount Holly, North Carolina; a special nephew, Robby McMinn of North Carolina; a special niece, Rachael McMinn; nephews, Derrick and Brandon; a niece, Shale; a great-nephew, Bryar; and great-niece, Raylin.
