Charlene Holt, 89, of Pampa, passed away January 24, 2019 in Pampa.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Rick Parnell, Baptist minister, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Holt was born on October 5, 1929 in Nueces County to Charley and Alma Rose Stephens. She attended Texas A&I College in Kingsville. In 1954, she moved to Pampa where she was a homemaker. She was the secretary at Wilson Elementary School for 20 years, retiring in 1991. Charlene married Ken Holt on February 14, 1981 in Pampa. She really loved Christmas, collected Seraphim angels, enjoyed cross stitching and loved being with her grandchildren. Charlene was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Holt of the home; two daughters, Coye Sue Hoth and husband Jay of Willis, and Amanda Copeland and husband Ed of Pampa; a son, Alan Scott Frazier and wife Jackie of Flower Mound; two brothers, Dewey Stephens of Comfort, and Jerry Foster and wife Carolyn of Kingsville; six grandchildren, Farah McNabb of Pearland, Jaime Anderson of Galveston, Haley Copeland of Amarillo, Alex Frazier and wife Kasey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Adam Frazier and wife Abi of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Colby Copeland and wife JaCee of Amarillo; three great grandchildren, Jordan Evans of Pearland, Kaelyn Evans of Pearland, and Remington Frye of Galveston.
Charlene was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Stephens.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Charlene’s caregivers, Jessica Cardenas, Kristan Davis, Samantha Castellon, Daisy Portillo and Adriana Portillo, for all their love and kindness.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Friday, February 1, 2019, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
