Charlene C. Turner, 86, of Amarillo, passed away peacefully in her home on February 14, 2020.
A private family celebration of Charlene’s life will be held at a later date.
Charlene was born November 30, 1933 in Greggton, Texas, to Joseph & Irene Chance. She loved to cook, sew, crochet, do word search, watch old movies, do crafts with her granddaughters, play games with her family and was an avid reader. Charlene worked for many years as an inventory clerk for Thompson Parts in Pampa, and at Engine Parts until she retired.
She loved her family and Jesus with her whole heart. Her favorite scripture was Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Charlene was preceded in death by her father and mother, 2 brothers, 1 sister and a son-in-law.
She is survived by her 2 daughters and a son-in-law, 2 grandsons and a fiancé, 2 granddaughters, 3 great-grandsons, and nieces and nephews.
