Cheryl Watson McKinley, 71, of Pampa, passed away January 15, 2020 in Pampa.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Scott Futrell, minister at Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Cheryl was born December 15, 1948 in Shamrock to Lucky and Mildred Watson. She was a 1967 graduate of Wheeler High School. She was a waitress in Albuquerque, New Mexico for many years. Cheryl worked as a cafeteria worker at Smithson Valley Middle School in Canyon Lake. In Pampa, she worked at Taylor Mart for several years. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and the Texas Rangers. Cheryl was a true servant to her Lord, family and friends. She was a member of Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ.
Cheryl was preceded in death by four brothers, Doyce Watson, Mitchell Leon Watson, Phillip Watson, and Ronnie Watson.
Survivors include two daughters, Kenndra McKinley and Machele Workman and husband Mark, all of Pampa; five brothers, Marshall Watson and wife Colleen of Amarillo, Gene Watson and wife Sheila of Pampa, Carroll Watson and wife Karen, Ricky Watson and wife Sharon, and Dwight Watson and wife Becky, all of Plainview; two sisters, JoAnn Lackey and husband Carrol of Fort Worth and Donna Huggins and husband Clive of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; two sisters-in-law, Laura Watson of Odessa and Alicia Watson of Canyon Lake; six grandchildren, Christopher Watson and wife Amanda of Ridgecrest, California, Joshua Watson and wife Candace of Pampa, Andrea Watson of Canyon Lake, Justin Watson and Adrienne Watson, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Connor McKinley of Pampa; and four great grandchildren, Shaylie, Tyler, Elijah and Zuriyah.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2019, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
