Clarice "Nana" Dunn

August 18, 1932 — November 27, 2017

Clarice “Nana” Dunn, 85, of Pampa and formerly of Canadian, went to be with our Lord on November 27, 2017 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Albert Maggard, pastor of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Clarice was born August 18, 1932, about five miles west of Pampa. She was the younger of two children born to Pete and Selma Marek. She lived most of her life in Pampa where she attended schools and graduated from Pampa High School in 1951. Clarice married Bobby (Bob) Randall Dunn on March 21, 1952 in Pampa. Clarice was a hard worker throughout her entire life, working for J. T. Richardson Trucking and Enron Corporation as a secretary and dispatcher, retiring from Enron in 1986. Her finest work, however, was completed in her home as she cared for her family. She raised three children, and enjoyed having her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit in her home. Clarice knitted baby blankets for each of her grandchildren whom loving referred to as “Nana.” She was preceded in death by her only son, David Charles Dunn, on June 2, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Martha Ogden. Survivors include her husband, Bob; two daughters, Cheryl Brennan and husband Mal of Shamrock, and Gayla Bursiaga and husband Sal of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, Debra Fullbright and husband Jackie, Cory Brennan and wife Kolby, Shelly Bolton, Darci Crawford, Chelsi Dunn, Jonathon Bursiaga and Clarissa Bursiaga; and nine great grandchildren, Kaleb, Tanner, Joshua, Emma, Henry, Witt, Jax, Tessa and Ryan. Memorials may be made to First Pentecostal Holiness Church, PO Box 1451, Pampa, Texas 79066-1451.
