Cleo Joyce Spencer, 79, of Pampa, passed away January 3, 2018 in Pampa. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Pastor Wesly Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Spencer was born April 4, 1938 in Clarksville to Hubert and Francis Graves. She had been a resident of Pampa most of her life. She married Henry J. Spencer on May 29, 1959 in New Mexico. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1985. Cleo worked for Bob Clements Cleaners for 40 years, retiring in 2003. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was involved in all church activities. She loved to cook, watch Wheel of Fortune, and work crossword puzzles. The family offers a special thanks to BSA Hospice of the Southwest, and to her special friend Charles Franklin, for their care of Cleo. Survivors include three daughters, Wandra Coyle of Dallas, Beverly Scott and husband Ted, and Kennye Pearson, all of Pampa; a son, Joe Graves of Pampa; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren 1 great-great grandchild; a niece, Terrie Thompson and husband Milton of Friendswood; and her special dog, Dakota. Cleo was also preceded in death by a son, Roxy Spencer; a granddaughter, Kaylin Pearson; and a grandson, Rodney Graves. Memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 441 Elm, Pampa, Texas 79065.
