Clifton Norris

Clifton Norris, 58, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 in Pampa.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Heather Ortiz, Clifton’s daughter, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Clifton was born on June 30, 1964 in Pampa to Bill Norris and Gloria Rasco Norris. He attended school in Pampa before leaving to enter the work force. Clifton worked hard for many years in the oilfield and as a truck driver. He drove a semi for the last several years until January of this year, when he was no longer able to. Clifton enjoyed riding jet skis, relaxing on a boat, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Gloria Norris; and one brother, Bruce Norris.

Clifton is survived by his daughter, Heather Ortiz and husband Mario of Nunn, Colorado; two grandchildren, Elliot Ortiz and Maisie Ortiz, both of Nunn, Colorado; one brother, Grady Norris and wife Cheyenne of Rising Star; and one nephew, Chad Norris of Pampa.
