Clinton Smith, 55 of Ukiah, CA, passed away on August 19, 2021in McLean, TX.
No local services will be held at this time. Arrangements and cremation are under the care of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Clinton was born on April 20, 1966, in Santa Rosa, California to Mona Fackerll and Raymond Smith. Clinton grew up and attended school in California. After high school, Clinton entered the commercial trucking industry, a profession that most of his family participated in and you could say it was in his blood. He traveled throughout the country and was able to see most of the United States. Clinton met Tammy Johnson in 2004 in Ukiah, CA and they married in 2005 in Idaho. He showed pride in his job and took immaculate care of his truck. When he wasn’t on the road, he liked to spend time and go camping with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter, Uriah Smith; a son, John Smith; one half-brother, Rick Thomas; a stepbrother, Vernon Graham; and his stepmother, Collen Smith.
His survivors include his wife, Tammy Smith of Ukiah, CA; two daughters, Miranda Smith, and Illa Layfield and husband Andy of McLean, TX; three sons, Raymond Smith and Jonathon Johnson, both of Grass Valley, CA, and Clinton Mikey Smith of Ukiah; six grandchildren and one on the way; his mother, Mona Hutto of Clarksville, TN; two sisters, Debra Thomas of Marysville, CA, and Darlene Manners and husband Will of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, Jack Thomas and wife Kathy Willets, CA, Barry Thomas, Ukiah, CA, and Rocky Smith and wife Narda of Eureka, CA; two stepbrothers, Rob Graham and Jeffery Graham, both of Garberville, CA; a stepsister, Teresa Graham of Shelter Cove, CA; and other extended family.
