Colin was born June 11, 1966, in Pasadena, Colin was the youngest of three children to Frances and Carl O’Neal of Pampa. After graduating from Pampa High School, Colin attended West Texas A&M before going on to have a 35+ year career in real estate. As a real estate agent, Colin was honest. He cared deeply about each of his clients and their families and worked hard to ensure each family understood the ins and outs of homeownership. In recent years, Colin became well-known for his educational videos helping homebuyers in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Colin wore many titles: son, brother, friend, and perhaps his most proud title, dad, to his four children – Cami, Chelsea, Corbin, and Chloe. From hauling horse trailers to rodeos, driving across the Metroplex for softball tournaments, and camping out with the Boy Scouts – Colin was always his children’s biggest fan.

If you knew Colin, you knew how much he loved his dogs. Though it took a couple of years to finally allow them in the house, once he did, he never turned back. He was known for posting rescue dogs on his social media and encouraging people to adopt. He leaves behind his best friends, Colt and Hadley. Colin was an adventurer from the beginning. From skiing in Red River, NM, to racing cars around Texas Motor Speedway, he loved the thrill. In his later years, he fell in love with European travel and being immersed in the culture.

A devout Catholic, Colin was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville Texas. There, Colin was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a vital member of the volunteer group that protected the church called the “Guardians”. His call sign, “Alpha 9”, will be retired in honor of his service.

Colin was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin O’Neal; maternal grandparents, Lytle and Gertrude Robinson; and his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Rae Jean O’Neal.

Survivors include his three daughters, Cami O’Neal, Chelsea Sweat and husband Kevin Sweat, Chloe O’Neal; his son, Corbin O’Neal; his parents, Carl and Frances O’Neal; and his brother, Chris O’Neal.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be sent to Pampa Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), P.O. Box 2095, Pampa, TX  79066, or through the GoFundMe to benefit Texas Sporting Breed Rescue.
